This is my path, and my path alone, my experiences have made me who I am, and I am thankful for all of those experiences bringing me to where I am today. My beliefs are not what I have been told, or have been programmed to believe, my beliefs are my own, and have been changed and formed because of questioning the norm, because of opening my mind to another way, forming my own beliefs because of being open to hearing another’s perception or perspective and doing my own research, listening to the truth inside of me, basking in the silence within solitude without a distraction. Thats the problem with those who just follow the programming, the lack of trusting in themselves, the lack of connectedness to what resides within their own being, within their hearts, mind and soul. To think freely, to ponder, to wonder, to sit in silence and be open to what may rise from the inside.
And I think this is the problem with so many, they follow the rules set for them, doing what they have always done instead of trying a new way. Never questioning why, accepting things as they are without doing or seeing things done differently, they don’t or can’t see outside the walls or the box they put themselves in, more so the box or walls that society has put around them. To be free is to free yourself, be yourself, not who someone wants you to be.
