Making time for you.

You are a wonderful miracle of life. Treat yourself as such. Listen to what is within your heart and your soul’s calling ❤️ Do what calls to you (I am not talking junk food or alcohol etc) Something that inspires you, what makes you genuinely happy or what brings you joy. What makes you smile?

There are so many, myself included that are always go, go, go or living on caffeine and/or sugar, having to do this and that with a never ending to-do list. But we have to make that time to slow down and rest, recharge. Just as we recharge our cell phone battery daily yet neglect the very body we live in, which also needs to recharge.

I am learning how to stop for a couple minutes to lay down with my legs up the wall and shut my eyes before continuing onto that to do list, to take a break whether it is to just sit outside and be still, feel the sun on your skin, or go for a bike ride (or whatever other physical exercise you enjoy) Put on some music that just makes you move, smile, and sing. Many say they don’t have the time, you have to make the time. Even if it is just one minute of s l o w deep breathing.

Listen to what your body is telling you. To just shut your eyes and be still without distraction and appreciate the very moment we are in.
