Living with mindfulness
The better you take care of your body, working from the inside out, the better you will be. It starts with your mind, your attitude, the food you ingest, the words you tell yourself or how speak to yourself, the people you hang around, do they inspiring you or are they draining you? From the things you watch (news, movies, shows etc) all have an impact on your inner world. Whats on the inside radiates. You have the ability to generate greater energy (without caffeine or stimulants), a better attitude, more focus, and genuine happiness by how you live your life and how you treat yourself. The more you can “give a shit” about things in your life and this world. Why do some people just don’t care? About their bodies, about their life, about the world that we all live in? After riding my bike this morning, I see all the litter along the road, it saddens me. I want to go pick it up and will do what I can.(my son just informed me about #trashtag) look it up Challenge accepted I know many live so mindlessly by littering (amongst other mindless things) by if everyone just did their part. Helping others to become more mindful, of their thoughts, actions and behaviors. Yoga, meditation, or just being out in nature to “be still”, still the mind and appreciate this beautiful world we do have the opportunity to live in. Ironically enough, as I wrote this I left water in a glass tea kettle boiling on the stove. The glass cracked, broke and left residue on my stove. Just like our life, if we neglect, ignore or forget about certain things in our life they can crack, shatter or fall apart. Be sure to honor all parts of our life, from our health (physical, mental and emotional) to our intimate relationships, family, jobs and ‘home’. Take time to prune what needs pruned. And give care and love to what needs a little more.
“Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be.”
