You cannot change what you are not aware of

Awareness is the first step toward any meaningful change. Without being conscious of our habits, behaviors, thoughts, or emotions, we remain trapped in patterns that may not serve us well. It's like walking in the dark, unaware or oblivious of what is actually holding us back from where we want to go, we can be our own best friend or worst enemy, we get to choose.

When we are unconscious of our negative or potentially damaging actions, thoughts or feelings, they can or will control our outcomes, if we don’t like what we’re getting, we have to change what is within us. These repetitive cycles of negativity will continue until we can take the necessary action to change what is within our own personal power which opens the door to growth and transformation.

Being conscious allows us to see the reality of our circumstances and understand the underlying causes of our experiences. This awareness is empowering because it gives us the choice to either continue as we are or make deliberate changes. Without this self-awareness, we may struggle to identify what needs to change or why certain aspects of our lives aren't aligning with our desires. In essence, we cannot change what we are not aware of; consciousness is the light that illuminates the path to transformation.
